Our season has come to its conclusion with a convincing and well fought win over Carlton. The team played the last game of the year with the passion we have become used to in the back half of the year (not that they didn't play with pride in the first half) and we came away with the 4 points.
Now that our last game for the year is over, it will be a preseason like no other.
The writing is on the wall, winning 2 of the last 3 matches!!!
We get our boys back and they will meld with our new champions.
Our prediction at QEBS and BFF is "17 in 2017"

Love letter from Layne Campbell of QEBS.
On the morning of Tuesday 12 January I was scheduled for surgery, so it was already a bad day. On the way to the hospital I listened to ‘Heroes’, my favourite Bowie of all time, over and over, volume maxed. He’d died two days earlier and it still hurt. As he was for so many, Bowie was emblematic of a certain time in my life, of certain people and places and events, and when Bowie was at the height of his powers I think I was too. So his passing brought a melancholy, an introspection that the prospect of surgery only made keener.
